Flip the board to choose 1/4" or 1/8" thicknesses. The kit includes a razor-sharp knife that is longer and narrower than a chef's knife, making it easier to cut extra-thin slices, and the knife can also be used for slicing roasts and other large cuts of meat as well as bread. The high-carbon stainless steel blade holds a sharp edge and the tip is rounded for safety. The blade extends the full length of the ergonomic handle ("full tang") and inserts into the board for safe storage.
