Peavey Mart, a leading Canadian retailer known for its
high-quality agricultural and hardware supplies, is excited to provide an
update on its upcoming store in Steinbach, Manitoba. This new location,
measuring an impressive 28,800 square feet with an additional 1,440 square feet
greenhouse, marks a significant expansion in Peavey Mart's commitment to
serving communities across Canada.
The store's opening is slated for late March of 2024, with a
big Grand Opening celebration being planned for late April. The community of
Steinbach is invited to watch the company make announcements as the official
date inches closer. The new Peavey Mart store build, located at 41 PTH 52 W,
Steinbach is tailored to meet the needs of both urban and rural customers.
The store includes a comprehensive selection of agricultural supplies, such as
farming equipment, animal feed, and gardening tools. An extensive range of
hardware, home improvement, and outdoor living products. This location also
provides a refined clothing department covering workwear and everyday lifestyle
options. Amongst other departments, this location will offer homesteading,
birding, grilling, automotive services, and a pet department, which includes an
in-store dog washing station.
A special greenhouse area and a section dedicated to
seasonal goods will feature everything homeowners need to get their lawns, yards,
and gardens ready for the spring and summer seasons ahead, which will then
convert to a Christmas and Toy department in the colder months following.
Peavey Mart is proud to contribute to the local economy by
employing approximately 20 staff members at this new location. This initiative
underscores Peavey Mart's dedication to providing jobs and supporting the
Steinbach community’s economic development.
