Heater Spec

The heater is a 220v. This is the only voltage that would give you 7500w The thermostat is located at the base and is built in. This is a great space heater for a small shop or 1 car garage, it will not heat the area up to t-shirt temps if its -15 outside. But it make a shop comfortable to work in all winter in Canada. Single car garage heating to t-shirt temp would need a rating of 20-25,000 BTU and a 2 car would need 30-35,000 BTU. A larger furnace would cycle less and be too hot. A smaller one like this one featured, will be running constant.

220 or 110

The description doesn't mention if it is 110 or 220 and how long the cord is if it has one or if it needs to be wired in .I hesitate to buy one that needs the thermostat relocated..

Got one of these. For my 784 square foot garage with 9 foot sealing garage is well insulated It was -30 celcius with a wind chill of -45 Celsius. And this thing has no problem heating to temp I set it to as long as I was in the high 7500w mode . Had one issue with the unit tho the digital room display temp display would read wrong and it would shut of cause it has reached the desired temp I had it set for then once the unit was off the temp display would keep rising to what ever the heat element temp was and causing it not to kick back in for a long time well by then it had cooled of the place to much . But being the problem solver guy I am knew that the thermostat was way to close to the element so down it comes and i discover 2 sets of thermostats one at the removable grill at back white wires black tip and one closer to the heating element which had black wires black tip. So rerouted them to out side of heater. Fixed problem. Super easy to reroute wires. Awesome unit now
